Living Night – original poem

Well, I’m not sure why it has sprung forth today, as it has been many years since a poem spontaneously came to me. But it has emerged to surprise and delight me today. Enjoy and be blessed!

Living Night

In the stillness of night the glow of mystery entwines the earth.

Stars sprinkle hints of hope and wonder.

Moon waxing and waning its allure.

Sounds of life coo and buzz … and yet

Stillness is heard as it surrounds us all.

Our souls speak louder in the presence of night

And we see the breath of life.
